Position
Summary:
This position will be responsible for installing and maintaining the City's IT infrastructure, working with business unit leaders to improve automation and efficiency, providing support to internal and external users, and maintaining/improving the integrity, security, and availability of automated systems.
He/she will report to the Assistant CIO and may receive technical and functional direction from other administrative or professional personnel, and will be responsible for managing and maintaining the virtual environment, servers, clients, enterprise network, storage, Enterprise applications, and other City-wide IT infrastructure.
Position Scope:
This position performs a variety of skilled IT work under general supervision; maintains a strong sense of current and future shifts in technology and provides support to make the environment more efficient.
This is a highly skilled technical position and Essential Personnel position.
