PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION:
Call Center Customer Support is responsible for the overall operation of the phone line system for the Humane Society of Greater Miami during operating hours.
Major responsibilities include providing outstanding courteous, friendly, and professional customer service.
Some responsibilities include but are not limited to directing the telephone calls to the proper department and updating animal files and data entry.
GENERAL DUTIES:
Provide a friendly and professional welcome to all callers.
Have general knowledge of telephone equipment, service and telephone call handling procedures.
Be able to handle a telephone switchboard with multiple incoming calls.
Be a team player with a positive attitude.
Have excellent verbal, telephone, listening and written communication skills.
Have schedule flexibility; able to work weekends, evening and holidays.
Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
Ability to speak clearly and effectively.
Project a professional image of the organization.
Serves as the ambassador between clients, volunteers, departments Data entry Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
High School or equivalent education At least one year of Call Center experience Good customer relations skills Ability to prioritize, organize, problem solve, and coordinate daily activities.
Possesses interpersonal skills.
Computer literate Due to the nature of this position, bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
