Essential Job Functions Responsible for setup of PC computers, including peripheral devices, laptops and smart phones.
Responsible for network management, development and implementation of wiring configuration standards, connectivity solutions, overall network operation systems, network file systems and directory structure.
Responsible for ensuring LAN/WAN system integrity and security.
Also responsible for installation and configuration of network hardware and software.
Responsible for equipment failures diagnostic of computers, network, and media equipment for the purpose of identifying needed repairs and/or ensuring equipment is in proper working order.
Develop and maintain repair processes.
Provides input for purchases of hardware and software needed to operate the network, servers and desktop PC's.
Orders parts for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of items as needed.
Responsible for evaluating end user needs and recommends appropriate equipment and software configurations.
Manages the inventory control function at the site and resolves inventory problems in a timely manner.
Responsible for performing and verifying system and data backups on servers using Veeam software.
Monitors Company helpdesk, ensures that tickets are closed or escalated properly along with acting as an escalation point for Developer level support.
Provides leadership, coordination for department Technicians.
Leads IT technicians in project oriented work and directs issues as they arise.
Ensures regularly scheduled technical maintenance tasks are accomplished on time.
Responsible for analyzing log files, investigating, and correcting or recording errors discovered.
Monitors assigned servers and network applications for the purpose of ensuring continuity of service.
Provides management and administrative support of digital communication systems; including training and orientation for staff.
Deploy, monitor, and maintain uninterruptible power supply systems for Girosol equipment.
Performs other duties and assignments as required.
