Service Advisor
Responsibilities:
Approach and greet customers promptly Obtain customer and vehicle information Document customer needs and concerns Clarify customers concerns and description of problems Conduct vehicle inspection, check service maintenance records, check for manufacturers recalls and bulletins Verify warranty and service contract coverage, and explain coverage and exclusions to customer Arrange for towing, courtesy shuttle transport, vehicle loaner or rental car arrangements Determine recommended service based on age, mileage and vehicle history Prepare repair orders by documenting services requested and required Obtain customer approval signatures prior to sending vehicles in to the shop Communicate closely with service technicians after 182 point inspection has been performed on vehicle Communicate additional recommended services or problems found by technician to the customer Provide excellent customer service by explaining estimates and expected time for completion of service repairs and maintenance Monitor progress of vehicle and update customers on the vehicle status frequently Engage in active delivery by reviewing all work performed on vehicle and provide clear explanation of charges Serve as point of contact after service and repairs have been performed Required Skills and
Experience:
Prior Automotive Service Advisor Experience Customer Service oriented Strong verbal and written communication skills Preferred Skills and
Experience:
Honda certified Experience using Reynolds and Reynolds Bilingual preferred Strong computer skills
